Jack Morneau, a former Ottawa Rough Riders player, has passed away at nearly 100 years old. He played as a tackle for the Rough Riders from 1950 to 1951, winning a Grey Cup in his final season. A World War II veteran who served with the Royal Canadian Navy, Jack went on to work for Chrysler Canada for 41 years before retiring in 1997. Rest in peace.
The CFL Ottawa Alumni Association has donated to the Navy League of Canada in Jack’s honour.
